I know I haven't been writing much lately.  Just give me another day to recover from a wild, fun, crazy thanksgiving with family and friends I had not seen since last christmas.  Till then, check out this "12 Days of Christmas" Classic brought to you by Nate Friend and I. Discover them.  Search for them.  Find them.  Live them out.

Discovery. Faith. Community. (or "Why I Write")

Those are the 3 words you see when you enter this site. 

DISCOVERY.  We are constantly discovering our passions.  We are always learning more about ourselves.  And as my grandfather says, we are always developing new gifts as a consequence of our life adventures.

FAITH.  All of these passions must be placed in context.  Driven by Jesus whom we follow.  And our faith must constantly bare weight on the culture in which we live.  We are constantly challenging, pushing, pulling, loving, living, and offering an alternative to the broken world around us.  We live in tension.

COMMUNITY.  We must see it all from a global lens.  From a God sized view.  We must take our faith driven passions and drive them out into the world in which we live.  We must think of our neighbors.  We must impact our neighborhood.  We must consider those outside of our region.  We must consider those outside of our country.  Our world is far too interconnected not to realize this.
