It's that time of year (again). Everyone's schedule gets hectic. Summer plans are in the works. School is in its final days. Summer jobs are just around the corner. College students are moving back home or to their summer job. Day Calendars are full of graduation parties and final get togethers.
Every mid May, I pack my bags and head to Durango, Colorado. This will be my 9th summer working at Kanakuk Colorado. But this time, I am closing the K-Life chapter of my life and permanently moving to Durango to work full time with Andy and Jamie Jo Braner (the directors of K-Colorado).
I have been blessed by the 5 years of ministry with K-Life (2 in Branson, MO and 3 here in Denver). Now I have been led to join a new venture that will officially begin at the end of this summer. As I come on board with Kanakuk Colorado, the organization is stepping outside of Kanakuk to form it's own company, Camp Kivu. You'll be hearing A TON more about this new venture as we progress through the summer. There are many opportunities locally, regionally, and internationally that we will be pursuing under the new banner of Camp Kivu.
Next Friday, May 15th I will pack the 4 runner full of everything I own and begin this new chapter. Do I know where I will be living in Durango? No. Do I know what the schedule will be like come Fall? No. But I am thrilled for the unknowns and excited for the new adventure that is about to take place. Denver has become a true home with many friends that I will greatly miss. Going from a big city to another small town will probably be hard to settle into. But I know that it is also a time to develop new relationships, build new community, and discover new ways to be involved in a broken world.
I have one more week in Denver. And to all my Denver friends, I am certainly going to make the most of it.

What a blessing it has been sharing 2 years of that 5 year journey with you! Very few men in my life provide the iron you have! I am so excited to see the next chapter of your life written by Him!
One of your biggest fans!
